Trail Hub’s bike shop isn’t just open – it’s fully dialed, stocked, and ready to get you rolling. Whether you’re gearing up for your first trail ride, shopping for performance upgrades, or just need a quick flat fix before hitting Rick’s Raging Red Line, our new shop is here to support your ride and stoke your curiosity.
We caught up with Jack, the driving force behind the bike shop, to talk service, gear, rentals, and what’s coming down the trail.
Built by Riders, for Riders
Jack’s been racing downhill since 2021 and started building out the shop in late 2024. “It started with getting the GasGas rentals ready, setting up service tools, and bringing in the gear we’d want to use ourselves,” he says.
Now, the walls are lined with pro tools, and the service bay is fully open for everything from flat fixes and brake rubs to gear adjustments and full tune-ups. Expect fast, friendly help, especially for quick trailside problems you don’t want ruining your ride.

Rentals that Rip
Thinking about trying e-biking? Trail Hub’s fleet of GasGas rentals is perfect for riders of all levels. “They’re super beginner-friendly, and the batteries last way longer than people expect,” says Jack. “Most people only use one bar of battery so I tell them, ride more!”
If you’re climbing to the top of the ski hill, go ahead and use boost mode. Want to fly through Rick’s jump line? These bikes can handle it. “The suspension actually helps you jump—it almost does the work for you,” Jack laughs.
Trail Runners, We See You
We’re not just a haven for bikers. Trail runners will find Salomon shoes, hydration packs, trail snacks, and running gear ready to go. And yes, we’ve got snowshoes when winter hits. You’ll even find gear for kids, from gloves and helmets to bike accessories that make progression fun.

Quick Q&A with Jack
Q: What’s your favourite trail at Trail Hub?
A: Rick’s Raging Red Line. It’s our dedicated jump line, pure airtime from top to bottom. You’ve gotta be comfortable leaving the ground, but it’s built to help you progress with confidence.
Q: What do you think of the existing trail network?
A: It’s a solid mix. You’ve got everything from mellow green cruisers to fast, technical descents. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re looking for black-diamond spice, there’s something here for you.
Q: Have you ridden the new stuff yet?
A: Yeah, some of it’s not even open yet. It’s all really good. There are a lot of features, but everything’s rollable or has a ride-around. It’s fun without being overwhelming.
Q: Got any tips for first-timers?
A: Start with a rental e-bike and ride the climb up in boost mode. Then turn it off and cruise the trails. It makes the whole thing more fun and less intimidating.
Q: What’s your favourite type of service work?
A: I actually love doing gear adjustments and fixing squeaky brakes. It’s satisfying to get everything running smooth again.
