A Premier Trail Running Event in Durham Region
Trail Hub and Green Newton Adventures are proud to welcome runners, hikers, families, spectators, volunteers, vendors, and community partners to The Whole Enchilada Trail Race, presented by Salomon.
In just two years, The Whole Enchilada has grown into Durham Region’s premier trail running event, reaching 850 participants and bringing more than 1,500 people to Trail Hub for a full day of outdoor recreation, community connection, and trail celebration on June 20th.
A Race Experience for All Ages and Abilities
Set at Trail Hub in Uxbridge, Ontario, The Whole Enchilada offers race options for a wide range of participants, including the signature 50 km Whole Enchilada, 25 km Half Enchilada, 8 km Mini Enchilada, 4 km Hike Enchilada, and youth race options for kids.
The course experience highlights some of Durham Region’s most celebrated trail systems, including Durham Forest, Walker Woods, and Glen Major, while creating an accessible, spectator-friendly event environment from Trail Hub’s centralized start and finish area.
A Partnership Rooted in Community

Giving Back Through the Trails
The event also continues to build meaningful community impact. Fundraising efforts have raised more than $2,500 to date for the Green Durham Association, while 50% of Hike Enchilada registration fees support local environmental initiatives. All funds from the Kids Salsa 1 km Fun Run will be donated to Jumpstart Charities at Canadian Tire, Uxbridge.
