The Hell of the North arrives at Trail Hub.
A defining event in Canadian cycling, this year marks the 17th anniversary of one of the country’s longest-running and most respected off-road races. For nearly four decades, riders have lined up to take on its unforgiving terrain, earning not just a finish time, but a place in its legacy.
In 2026, that legacy continues here on Sunday, May 10, 2026

The Course
The foundation of the Hell remains unchanged.
100 kilometres of raw, honest terrain:
- Rail trails and dirt roads
- Relentless climbs and loose corners
- Technical sections that demand focus and grit
The final stretch features a CX-inspired finish section, designed for spectators and riders alike. Expect tight turns, energy from the crowd, and a finish that feels earned.
More Than a Race
At Trail Hub, the experience extends beyond the course.
Riders and spectators can take in the full venue, including:
- Nest Restaurant for post-ride dining
- The Bike Shop for last-minute tuning and essentials
- Café service and gathering spaces throughout the day
The finish line transforms into a shared moment, where effort meets atmosphere.

A Legacy Worth Chasing
The Hell of the North trophy carries the names of some of Canada’s most accomplished riders.
But the true reward is the experience itself.
This is where limits are tested. Where stories are earned. Where riders return, year after year.
Whether you are chasing the podium or simply aiming to finish, this is a ride that stays with you.
Ride Together
The Hell is better shared. Teams and clubs are encouraged to ride together, with group options available for larger registrations.
