About the Role

As a Trail Builder, you will be part of our Outdoor Operations team, responsible for the construction, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Trail Hub’s trail network.

This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, detail-oriented, and enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in a physically demanding, hands-on environment. You will play a critical role in shaping the guest experience by ensuring trails are safe, rideable, and aligned with Trail Hub’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and repair mountain bike and hiking trails across the property
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, and machinery (where applicable)
  • Perform regular trail inspections to identify hazards, drainage issues, and required maintenance
  • Support trail design and development projects, including new trail builds and feature installation
  • Manage vegetation clearing, erosion control, and overall trail sustainability
  • Assist with seasonal trail prep including opening, closing, and weather-related maintenance
  • Support outdoor operations tasks such as grounds maintenance, signage installation, and general property upkeep
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure trails meet safety and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in trail building, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labour 
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Passion for outdoor recreation, especially mountain biking or trail use
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak seasons
